It is in the best interest of ReCap to insure that our students have access to all available
services and programs we provide while they are attending college. Listed are current
programs and services we offer. Note, some services or programs will be added,
changed, updated or discontinued at anytime. You will be notified of any changes in the
service or programs we offer. If you need assistance of have any questions, please contact

SERVICES
T.O.R.N. (Tapped Out Request Need) -
The TORN service is probably the most sought after service we offer. This service allows
our students access to funds that they can use to help pay for certain supplies, items or
materials they may need as well as having a little pocket change in their pocket when
money gets tight. College life can be stressful for students, but TORN will help ease some
of the stress when students know they have a little money available.
Care Packages -
ReCap offers two types of care packages. Each package contains items and basic
neccessities our students will need while away at college. A Care Package is sent to each
enrolled student every quarter or twice a year.
Standard Pack- This is the basic care package sent to our students. This package may
include personal items, hygiene products, supplies, materials, calculators, calendar,
organizer/planner, notebooks, binders, gift or certificate, etc and more. New items may be
added to this package as needed.
Platinum Pack- This package is given to those students are consistently excelling in their
studies and it includes all the items listed in the Standard Pack but includes additional
items such as Mini Frig, microwave, PC or laptop computer, voice recorder, etc.
A care package emergency request can be placed by any student that runs out of their
supplies before the quarter ends. Emergency packages are usually Standard Packs that
are sent to the student and contains specifically what was requested on the College Need
order form submitted by the student.
For students to receive any of the services listed, they must fill out a college need form from
the website or church secretary. They may also contact Student Services for assistance.
PROGRAMS
In addition to our services, ReCap also offer a variety of programs to help not only our
students currently enrolled in college, but also those who are planning to attend college.
Listed are the current programs offered by ReCap. New programs will be added or
discontinued if needed. You will be notified of any changes in our programs.
SNFCA (Saving Now For College Account)
SNFCA, pronounced (sniff-ca), is designed to help future members of RHM plan for their
entrance into the college life by allowing them to start saving now for college. With ReCap,
future prospects have a savings account opened for them where they can deposit funds
that they will have access to through ReCap when they enroll into college. Students who
enroll in SNFCA hold a significant advantage over those who didn't because they are able
to build up more substantial funds and will be have access to a larger amount than those
who did not participate, in addition, SNFCA participants will have their account balance
matched by ReCap up to 5% quarterly. This means even more available funds for them.
Those interested in learning more about the SNFCA program can contact Student Support
for assistance.
